Pediatric Cardiology

Starting with the recognition of heart disease in the womb through fetal echocardiography, our pediatric cardiology team diagnoses and treats congenital heart diseases from birth, as well as heart diseases that develop later in childhood and heart rhythm disorders, which are a serious concern in children. Our experienced team, in cooperation with the adult cardiology and cardiovascular surgery departments, provides services by determining the most ideal diagnostic and treatment methods for our patients with a multidisciplinary approach.

In the pediatric cardiology department, patients aged 0-18 with heart disease receive necessary treatment services using appropriate diagnostic tools.

Diagnosis and treatment procedures performed in our hospital include:

·         Echocardiography for congenital heart diseases

·         Pediatric electrocardiography (ECG)

·         Fetal echocardiography

·         Transesophageal echocardiography

·         Cardiac catheterization and angiography for congenital heart diseases (atrial septal defect closure, patent ductus arteriosus closure, ventricular septal defect closure)

·         24-hour ECG monitoring for rhythm disorders (Holter monitoring)

·         Cardiovascular stress test (Exercise Test)

·         24-hour blood pressure monitoring (Blood pressure Holter monitoring)
